Hello Domainers, My name is Derrick. I do have a understanding how domain flipping works!Since I have some knowledge in stock.Just here to learn , build rapport and eventually invest when the time comes...

I'm the opposite of you.

I went from domaining to stock as you can't "split" a domain! :-P

A domain (share) will always stay with you as a single until you can flip it, whereas a share can split into 5 (Tesla for example) and have the same value. However, you now have 5 shares that you quite possibly bought at $400 each and could sell 2, keeping 3, and still having a great portfolio. In that time, your appraisal for that 1 domain may have risen, but you haven't found a buyer.

I still buy and sell domains, just not actively; and, I will only buy a domain that I can develop as well. I won't let a domain sit on parking when it can be making me a hell of a lot more with 5 pages of unique content.

My stock portfolio is climbing while domains are dwindling. :)

Welcome to DNF though!
