I don't usually put up domains for appraisal but I just registered this about 2 minutes ago and was wondering what you think? I just posted a project on scriptlance to have a paid service website to use this domain so it should be a site in a couple of weeks. Incase anyone wants to go halves on the script let me know. Fakecron.com is still out there for registration so we could both have decent domains to start this type of service.

Off a site that offers the same service. fastcron.com

What is it?
Fastcron.com lets you schedule scripts on your server for execution, even if you don't have cron privileges on your host!

Why would I use it?
To execute scripts on your server at particular times or days. For example, you may have a search engine script that needs to index all the pages on your site. Rather than running it manually (whenever you remember!), you could simply schedule it to run every hour, every 3 hours, or whenever! Our easy-to-use web interface lets you schedule events down to the hour, so you can complete control over when things get run.

My host already supports cron
If it does, and you can run whatever you want, great! However, our experience over the years has been that most web hosts deny cron usage, for security and performance concerns. Other hosts limit you to one job at 3am, or other similar restrictions. With fastcron.com, you can run multiple scripts on your own schedule!

Thanks for the info.

I take cron / crontab access for granted. (Nice having your own servers.)

Great concept. d:)

yes it is but I figured there are a lot of people who either don't know how to setup a cronjob or just don't have the ability.

I am having the script designed now for a measly $125, if anyone wants to go halves let me know and I will send you a copy. :)
