I'm trying to figure out how to remove a domain that I bid on. I didn't actually want to bid on the domain. I just wanted to see if had any bids. Which apparently it did not, until now. lol.

Don't you just tick the box on the left hand side?

No. In most cases it won't allow you to. This is the biggest problem with NW which they need to address.

yes, it doesnt let you remove it even if it is days before the drop date!
I can understand not allowing you to remove your bid a few hours before it drops, but days before!?

Ok. I'll try to explain it for everyone. (I've only recently started using it "correctly" myself!) And I quote "The rules on removals are that you can only remove a maximum of ten domains per day from the list and the second rule is that domains for the day must be removed before 7am PST." I got this straight from the horses mouth a few weeks ago when I was all of a sudden stuck with a bunch of $8.75 grabs. Has never happened again!

You cannot remove if you are the highest bidder. However if you are the sole bidder at $8.75 you can remove the domain even few minutes before 1 PM EST.

It doesn't work that way anymore! After 7: AM (PST) [10: AM EST] you CANNOT remove an $8.75 bid from your account. (I have 12 of them for today's drop in my NW account right now and there is NO tick box to remove any of them!)

So you bid for 12 names that you did not want ? :goofy: . Great.

No, I wanted 'em and I got ten of 'em ("'region' dvd(s)" (e.g. r5dvd.com, r5dvds.com, etc.)

Is there any way for me to get an 8.75 account? I'm having to pay 15 minimum bid for every name... and 20 on the final day.

Thanks,
Dave

I don't think you can anymore unless someone wants to hook you up with an old or extra account. They changed the web site around a few months ago and all the members previous to the change got grandfathered in at $8.75 per domain. Everyone after at $15.00. However we all pay the $20 on the final day of the bidding process for initial bid.

Well namewinner accounts are associated with dotster accounts.
So unless someone has a spare forgotten one that also has no domains at dotster then it would be hard to get one.
