Hi guys, I'm a newbie to selling domains - having only bought them up to now!

I was wondering if anyone knows the score about listing domains on Sedo and then on multiple sites? So say you get a sale elsewhere, is the a penalty from Sedo?

Any answers would be a great help. I'm thinking of setting up a number of selling sites (so parked and listed for sale) for each of the domains/or just one but don't want to be tied to one selling platform.:uhoh:

Thanks,

Al

For maximum exposure, list the domain at all the big venues. Just make sure that if you start an auction somewhere, do not at the same time accept offers or start auctions at other venues. That will get you in trouble. Other than that it's fine to list names at multiple venues at the same time, except if you have an exclusive brokerage agreement with someone or similar.

GD has joined SedoMLS, so now if your names are listed with BIN prices on Sedo...they come up in search at GD.

i checked a few of mine yesterday to confirm.

though i haven't as of yet "read" the fine print of who processes the "transaction/collects commission" if buyer is thru GD.

Thanks for the heads-up. Could be a good thing, because they obviously reach a MUCH wider END-USER base than just Sedo alone. I'm not sure if I want to deal directly with GoDaddy though.

Sell through SedoMLS = commission of 20%
So think twice before listing with a BIN; check twice when receiving an offer.

I had the impression that its our choice if we wanted our "Buy Now" listing to be included in SedoMLS or only on Sedo marketplace alone (10 % comm instead of 20). However, I got confused when I found my domains are automatically cross listed at GODADDY (my registrar). Does it mean if these domains sells there, an automatic 20 % comm will be charged by Sedo?? I believe, as a Godaddy auction member this would be a loss for me and many others as I could have just list my domains separately in GD aftermarket with a 10 % commission. And lets assume, we do list our domains separately on our registrars (sedoMls partners) with different pricing (than we list them on Sedo) how the system will take it? :) . Any info everyone?:):)
