We are earning only €0.10 fixed amount per click no matter which domain name people click the ads on.

Is it common to be paid this fixed amount?

Not impressed with Sedo at all. Their staff keep insisting that we are getting paid a percentage of bid amount, yet that is patently not true as each click on completely different domain names is earning us €0.10

Waste of time emailing them back and forth over such things.

The only reason we are considering parking with them is most of our domain names are .eu and Sedo, as far as I know, is the premier site for .eu domain name trading. Using Sedo Parking pages will increase likelihood of selling the domains. But won't do so if they continue to pay such mediocre click amounts.

True, unless otherwise their PPC is very low especially for domains whose traffic comes from Europe. I had a similar experience with sedo until recently when i decided to move all their names out of there.

I doubt there is a fixed CPC set on the domain names, I have around 30 domain names at Sedo and all of them perform differently.

As for changing the parking provider, as you may know other PPC providers also offer "Domain Enquiry" link on the site and of course you can still list the domain name in the database of Sedo, even though the name is not parked there.

Hi all

I also have some .eu domains recently registered.
Where is better for parking .eu domains?

Thanks for any help

i get anything between 0.03 and 0.29 euro at Sedo for european ccTLDs. I tried namedrive, however, they didn't pay as much...

I get .03 to .35 US cents...Highest paid is besthandphones.com, not a terms used in the States! Have used Domain Spa before, but they reject so many clicks that I've decided with Sedo" small, snail-like-like, but it does keep coming. Domainhop pays well for financial sites, but the ads are quite pitiful.
You CAN list your domain on sedo, but not park it there...Do a web site or two, get your own accounts, and put a "for sale" shingle!

I got 0.94 (Euro) for 2 clicks yesterday on a domain I have parked with Sedo.

I think this depends on what domain you are parking... Sedo pays most for european ccTLDs which I specialize in. If you know a better place for such domain, please correct me

I`m getting 97c with a domain at sedo ... 300 other domains on pitiful amounts ..

I have 2-3 Euro clicks on financial traffic at sedo.

is that for dot coms?

domain.co.uk 2 1 50.00% 1.64 € 820.00 € 1.64 €

domain.co.in 105 16 15.24% 2.44 € 372.48 € 39.11 €

domain.com 29 7 24.14% 0.59 € 141.38 € 4.10 €

Revenue fluctuates based on keyword PPC. But as a norm, Sedo retains a larger chunk of the ad revenue than others.

Sedo Pay less than 40% overall. As they just guess the PPC based on location and keyword. They have no way of knowing until Google Updates them, even if your keyword bid changed from $0.50 to $50.00 you would still get $0.10 unless the keyword sustained the higher revenue for a few weeks, you might then see an increase.

This method is very dishonest, they should pay a straight and open percentage of what they get from google, but they dont, and if any of you have ever had the dis-pleasure of dealing with 1and1 internet, you will see the common attitude across all the United Internet Companies.

Shocking numbers. My estimate was that Sedo was retaining 25%.

One would think a PPC company would make more revenue by cutting down their take and getting more domainers on board...but maybe this isn't the case. I'm sure if we found a place only taking 10-20% with decent templates and stats reporting many of us would run there quickly.

The best I have found is trafficz as they only take 35%. However you need to negotiate with them for this.

.
Exactly...
Do not park your travel related domains at sedo.com actually as a rule of thumb don't park any "high paying keywords" there...
If you can have access to google.com ad bids "Check them out" you will be shocked ! (You are suppose to be getting at least 25 % of the bid) of course sedo will say "They clicks on the lower bid' ads"

if sedo are lying like that then why park with them at all?
