I've just started to build this site, and am interested in the value of the name on it's own. One of these valuation sites quoted $300,000 which I thought may be a little optimistic, especially as I paid $7 for it not so long ago.

To most people this would be a worthless name. But to me... ahhh that just happens to be "MY" fetish... absolutely love those elves!

I assume that it had little value as it was still available. I don't understand why though. Look at the good points

No misspellings or hyphens
.com tld
two easily recognised and remembered 3 letter words
sex is one of the words
describes a fun character

I just don't understand why something like am3rica.com would be worth more.

I think SexElf.com is kinda blahish.

Mike

It doesn't really stand for anything. When people look for sex on the net, elves don't usually figure (then again there are some strange people out there lol)

Even though it's two easily recognizable words, and a dotcom, and no hyphens, this has no resale value by itself. Anyone can make up two words and slap them together and develop their site. Gets about 45 hits on Google, not exactly staggering and indicative of its popularity.
