Please Don't Quote my Domains - I'll be removing them from the list soon to keep them from hitting the www

These are maybe 75% of my .ca domains. Some I won't show for good reason so I deleted them from the list.

Editted list before google invades my privacy.

Damn only one:typing: Gotta get faster fingers:crutch:

.ca reported sale at Afternic

tinnitus.ca $1,675

I had to look the word up to see what it meant.

I just checked as well. Looks like a domain with potential. In searching I found one site claiming Quebec alone has 600,000 people affected by it. tinnitus co-exists with alot of search terms as well. bidding is low on ppc but maybe the buyer has a real use for it.

I just picked these up, adding to my hockey portfolio:

HockeyTrades.ca
VintageHockey.ca
HockeySystems.ca

Lots of nice domains in the CIRA drop today. The auctions should be amusing - but I did manage to outright grab canada 360.ca

edit - I obviously used the wrong backorder service as I didn't get a single one of six I tried, but I see the same usual three suspects got them all. I'm not into conspiracies, but something seems amiss when the same people always seem to get the best domains...

The usual suspects use every drop service, have arrangements with many registrars (privately) etc etc. And they're prepared to spend serious $$$ on the domains.

That's why they win so frequently. But if you have a specific list I'll look at it and perhaps can shed some light for you. (confidentially of course)

I've all but given up on the drops. It's pretty much a game that is designed for me to lose.

Once in awhile all the big boys will let something through and I may get a crack at it, but often then not, I reg my own domains by hand.

I don't have the money to pay off registrars to cheat for me, and the two guys I know that backorder domains, use every backordering .ca service out there, and still never get any of them.

Always the same two or three guys, as Roy said. So logically I know the playing field has not been level for awhile.

Well, Dropwizard, I can assure you that I don't have any such "private agreement" with anyone. I think it was you who had sent me a PM in the past suspecting me of being in cahoots with one of them, but as I said, it isn't the case.

I got half of my names today at cost, which meant nobody else bid for them at that registrar... so don't know about this issue of it being not level. But yes, it is a given, that you will have to use more than one service to dramatically improve your chances.

I wasn't talking about you.

I just parsed through the list, and I think I can see what you're getting at...

I also noticed a familiar name - someone who shares the first name of a character from an old christmas classic. He had let a whole bunch drop earlier this year...

Hi Kerri, I have:

Go2010.ca (Vancouver Olympics)

TRILOBYTE.CA

Is ET still buying names in the drops? Surprised he would let a lot of names drop, he has so many I guess there must have been a few duds, or did he drop some good names?

ET doesn't normally let names drop. Well good names anyway. It seems that his and Sania are still the pretty big players in the .ca names. ET picked up ABS.ca yesterday. I don't even know who caught that one. I know it wasn't pool.

Is ET still buying names in the drops?

He was on Wednesday, and got a couple nice ones too.

Does ET ever sell any of those domains he is hoarding?
