some of those guys wait til the end of the 30 day period to renew their names - if it's a good name it'll probably be renewed at the last minute.

ET does indeed have a GREAT name on the suspended list. It's been suspended for almost a month now. Only "God" knows why he would let it expire, if that do indeed happen.

Being suspended doesnt mean it will drop with .ca... i renewed a suspended domain yesterday at the regular price of reg fee, it doesnt resolve to its nameservers in that state but you still hold claim to it without any complicated issue other than logging into your UI and renewing it.

Hey all, hope you don't mind me shifting topics a little. Is this the right forum to ask if anyone has a Canadian website that would be complimentary to mine? It is a home and garden theme.

Was that wibro.ca by any chance? I had a bid on with Sibername but they did not get it, must have been Pool...

No it was not that one.

As for ET's potential drops - I suspect there is more than one nice one coming up - maybe he just has so many or not so perfect record keeping that some are slipping through.

He just renewed one that I had my eye on.... I think he's just teasing us... lol..

Here are are a couple showcase domains, a gift to the first who regs them, from the Tedgeman :)

promqueen.ca
gamerules.ca
gasmileage.ca

ET has built a great portfolio and there isn't a day when he doesn't have premium names on the verge of deleting.

Okay - where is ET portfolio?
does anyone have a link

I use pool to backorder domains and they have caught some of the names though I've been outbid on most. I've also used sibernames but haven't caught anything with them yet. Some great .ca names here! Thanks for keeping this thread alive! :-)

Is it just me or is the pace of registrations starting to pick up?

Dozens of domains I had on my lists are now gone in the past month. Even domains on my 'weak list' like all the remaining 2am 8pm etc are gone by Mr. Lee and others.

I found fresh regs by a number of DNFers in the past two weeks.

Slow down people - leave some for the rest of us! LOL

Edit - and seriously - Ebenezer - how many domains does this guy control? He also has them listed under company names, and a woman sharing the same last name - maybe his wife or sister?

dot ca is climbing in popularity. Watch the numbers on the cira billboard.

I'm finding many from the Emall characters too regged in the past couple of months.

Kevin I found some of your domains I have never seen you list anywhere - nice domains you got there! Same goes for Razor.

Keywords, keywords, keywords, I think we all thought this was going to happen, and we've even talked about the reasons why here. Even with Canada's relatively small population, all the top keywords and phrases are bound to be snapped up in short time.

Domains get more important in the business world, and not less, everyday.

I've done some fresh regging the past two weeks, and would like to do more.

At this pace it makes me wonder what will be available to people in 5 years or so when they decide they need a .ca domain. Or .com for that matter...

You have a good eye Roy. It's actually very difficult to keep it all hidden when you have more than you can handle. I'm no office clerk, believe me.

There's no link... just think up a list of 100 generics you'd personally like to have, and chances are the majority of them are owned by ET, Emall, and CS out in BC... she has some nice ones dating back to 2000 or before...

Makes me think of that Saturday Night Live clip that someone posted awhile ago, of this law or accounting firm who's url is clownpe**s.com because it was the only name left... lol..

For sure... I think that Traffic conference last month also helped. There were articles about it in the Toronto Star, Globe&Mail, etc..
