I guess it's been a while since I've participated in the TBR...

oh man my cheapness just cost me...

I had 2 .cas in my cart this morning but I wanted a discount so I emailed namespro for a promo code... I just got the code from them and when I went to reg the names they are gone.... :upset: :upset:

Thanks for the info, I'm waiting to hear back from Adam, hopefully he can help me out...If I use a Canadian address of a partner for a .ca, would I be giving up any rights or control of my domain to that partner? I'm not sure I understand how that works.

You have to trust the partner 100%

If your a corporation and it becomes liable in any way for anything, I can assume the domains are property of the corporation of which can be taken through a court proceding. I'm not lawyer, laws and rules change daily in every market. The rules are spelled out quite clearly so if you abide by them, you should do fine. The terms at cira are made to protect the interests of all, but there are many loopholes which are taken advantage of without risk to you. But cross the wrong line and you stand to lose out on your investment. Read the rules thoroughly, ask some questions, even call cira directly and talk to the registrations manager (Edward).

Good luck.

Kevin

Happened to me last month with a .com

Hate it when that happens

Sibername appeared to get most of the good ones I was watching.

Pool did do well. See you in the auctions. :)

It was POOL all the way today.. no excuse!! big time massacre... everything I was looking at, looks like someone at Pool saw my wish list!!!!

Ok bear with me please, I am slow to learn all I see on the link is Date/Domain and Registrar.

Prehaps I should explain what I don't see.

I am looking for pool whatever the big buyer is but don't see pool anywhere also where is the winning bid price?

Pool uses a number of registrars.

At pool the winning bids are yet to be determined - it depends on how the bidding stage one works out for each name they nabbed, and in turn the auctions they spawn.

The information there might help clarify things a bit.

With the pool system you only see the final win price if you are part of the auction. You have to be in the initial order for the domain as well as actually submit a bid on it to see the final results.

If someone got a domain the same day as the drop they were the only one to order it and the price would be $60 & tax.

wwwcira - coming soon to a tbr near you. LOL!

Does anyone know who got mickeymouse.ca or volkswagen.ca??
