Site List Domain Stats on Any Website

Just ran across this today which I have not seen before but found it interesting....and very optimistic ! with reference to the number of visitors on any given site:

I like to think of it as "optimistic". Basically it is giving you an average of 19 visitors per day even if the the domain is new or has no prior reg history.

Just checked dnforum.com out of curiousity and it shows 69,000 + per day. If I had to guess
I would say it is closer to 25,000- 30,000 per day but only Adam knows for sure.

Agree except for 1 name which was accurate but all the others I checked were not even close to actual stats, with many extremely inaccurate.

Checked three and none were even close. One was under by a factor of 5. Next was over by a factor of 10 and the last was under by a factor of 20!

Absolutely ridiculous traffic estimations, i.e. a brand new name freshly reg'd yesterday and never reg'd before with 1 visit yesterday but they say 19 visits a day average :lol:

How can they develop a site which gives such nonsense? (if owned by a domainer here I do apologize).

Looks like if your site is well tracked in Alexa it might be close, but it is really hit or miss on this tool for most names. Overestimates overall.
