This is probably a stupid question..but how is the #1 site on Google for the keyword "foreclosure loan" have no rating on Alexa, no traffic status on Compete?

The site is foreclosureloan dot com (this isn't advertising right - it's not my site).

Adwords shows a decent search volume.

Any explanations are welcome.

It doesn't seem to have Pagerank, so it probably hasn't been #1 on G for very long. Either that or the keyword doesn't generate much traffic.

Hello,

I think the reason is because you are searching for a term which not commonly used. There is no loan product called "Foreclosure Loan". According to google trend, this term was once being search for back in late 2007.

On the other hand, when people bidding for adwords, they use any combination. Especially for loans (those with big pockets), almost any word combinations have bids. Another thing is that the domain contains the exact match keywords. Google will somehow place it in the top position. One example of mine is "Fitness Badminton" which is a quick site I create for a client of mine. No SEO was ever done to the site, but it ranks very high on Google.
