I realize this is stating the obvious, but... This would be a great domain for a developer who wants to keep up on and post recent domain sales similar to what namebio does, espacially in the crazy LLL.com and LLLL.com markets lately.

Nice domain, I'd try to find an end user for it.

I would say mid $xxx but it depends on the buyer - after all it could fetch $5k+ if someones ears prick up on a project.

SiteSales is a great name for an auction/forum dedicated to active web site and online business sales..

Thats what I had in mind when I bought it. I knew it would be a good name to resell because of the brandability of it.

Not many offers in the exclusive sales forum flooding in though, maybe I'll just hang on to it, develop it like you said.
