Sedo please for sake of Your customer get rid of this scammer listing skyp.com. He scammed me only for couple of hundreds, but he scammed Buyout.com for THOUSANDS with this domain, you can read in this thread:
http://66.132.159.88/showthread.php?t=95778&page=2&pp=40

The owner of the domain is still same, he actually do NOT plan to sell the domain, he jut use it as a bait for scam. Believe me on that please and be collegial to fellow domainers !

His listing is here:
http://www.sedo.com/search/details.php4?showcase=1&domain=skyp.com
He states " We sell it because we have a large project of website in sight" - there is no "we" is just him,I can give you complete email exchange with him and I thin buyout.com can tell some details too.

So again I beg You - get rid of this scammer in your system, PLEASE !

Hi Denny,

I'm sorry to hear of your experience here. Yes, please forward me the correspondence you mentioned above.

All transactions through Sedo are handled through our escrow. Before payment is sent to the seller our transfer agents require the domain to be in the buyer's registrar account and confirm that only they have control of it so there's no way for anyone to run a sales scam through us but I definitely want to make sure every listing is legitimate.

I'll look forward to your mail.

I hope no one gets ripped off by this. Also he's displaying adsense revenue without the CTR and other details removed, isn't that against google's TOS?

Yes nts, I do think that is against the Google TOS. As you said, I hope no one gets ripped off by this.

Nice quick action Sedo, thanks. I will post our emailssoon as a story to learn.

BTW he is unbelievably breaking Adsense TOS:
-frame-redirecting traffic to www.eventail.com
-redirecting it to page created only for reason of parking

I also found he owns 2co.us, probably preparing for later scam, because this domain definitely gets a lot of mistaken hits for real 2checkout page...

hmmm 2co.us redirects to 2checkout.com so I guess this one is OK

It is NOT OK, because he is now redirecting that, but it is "sleeping tiger" for future scams. He is owner of the domain, and thats most important:

whois 2co.us
[Querying whois.nic.us]
[whois.nic.us]
Domain Name: 2CO.US
Domain ID: D7514410-US
Sponsoring Registrar: ENOM, INC.
Domain Status: clientTransferProhibited
Registrant ID: F3F58DA7DCC668F4
Registrant Name: Whois Protection Service
Registrant Organization: DomaineZoo.com - Domains Registration Service
Registrant Address1: PO BOX 29
Registrant City: Bruxelles
Registrant State/Province: BRUXELLES
Registrant Postal Code: 1000

He is the domainzoo.com "registrar", probably Enom reseller account...

That is a definately NO, No. He should not do that. 2checkout.com is a financial institute.

I just called him up.
He speaks little English and I speak little French but yes he is the owner of the domain.
He seemed also a nice guy lol.
Anyway got disconnected after 5 mins really did not know what to ask just wanted to make sure it was him.
I wanted to bid on ebay but hmmm I am a little (very) concerned more about the typo than the actual guy.

lol selling a skype typo on Ebay, After Ebay bought skype hehe

Is 2Checkout aware ?
I know someone in Brussels who can pay a visit to this guy.

Is 2Checkout aware

Now they are, I made them.
I realize his purpose redirecting the name to 2checkout.com - after some time the people will get USE to it, thay might start to use 2co.us regulary to access their account, than he makes fake 2checkout page and will get access to lot of accounts...

He seemed also a nice guy lol.

Most scammers has high EQ, so they seems to be "nice guys". Thats why they can pull all the stupidiest scams - everybody thinks "such a nice guy, he can not be a scammer".

I personally prefer to deal with people maybe not saying not so nice things or things I want to hear, but which are telling true and are honest...

No more Mr. Nice Guy :-D

I found another cheating domain of his, which I did not realize before: he has domainezoo.com "registrar", which is typo of domainzoo.com...

OK finally I compiled our email exchange with the skyp.com scammer:
http://www.startseek.com/skyp.com.scam.fraud.html
Have fun reading it !

If buydomains.com is reading here, I would be curious, how went the investigation on Registerfly.com, but as the domain still belongs to the scammer, I am affraid buydomains.com has been scammed for a lot of money...

Well it looks like eBay caught up with him and removed his sale of this. It has been removed by them. Sorry to hear this happened to you, but thanks for the heads up.
