If I buy a snapback for $69 and the domain gets renewed, do I lose $60 or can I use it for something else?

i think that snaps can only be used three times total. so its misleading to say that it can used until they actually acquire a name for you.

If that is the case, then it is a new policy that I'm not aware of. I have used one credit to pursue a name more than 3 times in year.

draqon is very confused. why would you need to chase a domain three times in one year anyway? if the domain dropped, then it would get picked up by someone new, such as yourself or some other person. And if the domain was renewed, then it wouldnt be dropping that year so you wouldnt have need to chase it more than once.

i was saying, it is my belief that the snap can only be transferred to two other names, after the initial name is established. i could be wrong, that wouldnt surprise me.

anyone else know? doesnt snapnames set a limit of how many times you can shift the snap?

A SnapBack lasts for 12 months (or until it successfully grabs a domain) and can be transferred to different domains as many times as you like.

I regularly move my SnapBacks as domains are renewed or grabbed elsewhere.
