I wonder if...

1) There is a better chance of SnapNames capturing a domains with thier own Snapnames.com snap than with one of their discount snaps ? (CheapSnaps, NameAlerts & FastSnaps …etc.)

2) There is a better chance of Name Winner capturing a domain if the highest bid is $50 rather than $15? (Not my bid…highest bid in general)

What you think???

Thanks.

1. No.
2. Yes. They do chase names with higher bids "more" than with lower bids. However I think the price breakup occurs at ~$750-1000 and not $15 and $50.

So, you think it's better to go with one of the discount snaps or GoDaddy backorder if I want to capture a domain that has the highest bid of $30 at NW?

GoDaddy backorder would be more effective than a $15 NameWinner bid?

If you want to win, you have to utilize ALL available resources. Pool, NW, Snap, Godaddy, TheFirstName, DropWizard, etc.

I use all of them for high end domains...but I am talking about the domains for which I want to pay just $15-$40

Himm, well if it is a low value domain you can GoDaddy backorder it and also utilize pool to capture it if GoDaddy fails. This way you will not pay anything if the domain is not captured and if you capture it, you will only be paying something like 20-60 bucks at the most.

Good Luck !
