For Sale Snapnames or Safenames? Who steals my domain name?

On August 24, I was informed by Snapnames that they have got me one domain and the registrar is Safenames.

Congratulations! You have successfully acquired the domain name XXX.com

....
The domain is now registered to you. The registrar now managing your registration is Safenames. You will receive confirmation email with account access information from Safenames within 24 hours.


In the following days, I got no further email.

I just checked the whois, but the whois shows the registrar is safenames but the registrant is not mine!!!


Who stealed my domain name?


Anyone experienced the same thing???

Not with snapnames, but I've had this happen many times with namewinner/dotster. It all worked out for me, except once. One name I didn't get and should've. At least I got my money back from it, but I'd rather have the domain.

Safenames is a member on this forum.

And, Jerry also works with them.

Most of the time, Safenames puts the domain into their street name.
And, sometimes it is in Jerry's street name.

I have emailed Jerry, and also submitted a support request in SnapNames, let us see what they will explain and do.

In my experience they are definitely not safe.

I thought Safenames was with TFN (Jerry), did they move to Snapnames?
