Hello,
For several months I have tried to sell some of the domains listed below but I had no success whatsoever. Please let me know what you think about these names and how you would go about selling them. (I have listed them on the major list-sites, Afternic, ShoutLoud, GreatDomains, Sedo, ...) and sent out round 100 e-mails to people I thought might be interested, but still no success.

Please let me know if the quality of my names is ok and it's just the slow market or if there's a problem on my side.

Thanks a lot !

Hi again,

price range for my HarryPotter domains ?
Whatever I can get for them.

Even a few hundered bucks a piece would be nice.

If you help me sell them, you can have 50% of my profits.
Same with all other names there.

Thanks for your comments.

Reinhard

I thought again... If the whole bundle brings me 2000 bucks then I'll be happy. So the whole bundle for 2000 or each one for 500. I think that sounds about right.

Contact me at [email protected] if you have any success.

What do you think about the other domains in my list ?

Did you know that Harry Potter is trademarked and it's only asking for trouble using them in domains? I remember a case where a young fan had his web site contacted by the lawyers of the publishing company. He was finally allowed to keep it but not having content and selling it while it violates copyrights and trademarks that's another story.

I thought about the trademark, but I figured the names that do not contain "Harry Potter" in them would be ok. So GetOwlPost should be free of trademark-rights.

The ones with HarryPotter in the name are probably not usable.

Please let me know what you think about the other (not Harry Potter-related) domains, like ToyFairy, AmTip, ... Thanks.

Thanks a LOT for the appraisals ! That really helps me a lot to figure out what to ask for them.

Do you have any ideas on how to actually sell them ? I have put them up on several of the big brokers (Afternic, Sedo, GreatDomains, ...) and so far I did not even get one bid.

I figured the market is either very slow or my domains aren't good enough.

If you have any ideas, please let me know.

Thank you VERY much for your efforts !

You are welcome.
Yes the market IS slow. I had no luck with Afternic, GDomains either. I am currently selling a lot of domains on ebay, with minimum profit but that's ok. I hold onto about 200 domains and plan to sell a few big ones on ebay as well. The ones that I sold outside ebay were coincidences, as the buyers contacted me for a particular name. There is definitely money to be made :D

It's getting late here, logging off for tonight.

A question: Would you be interested in selling my domains for me (or do you have enough of a burden selling your own ? :)) ).

50% of the profits would be yours.

Let me know. I'll answer tomorrow.

Happy Easter as well :)
Thanks for the offer, unfortunately right now I am focusing on my own domains and I have way too many already :)

Hi there again,
no problem. I can understand that you have to concentrate on your own domains. Good luck with them.

A happy easter to all !

You have some really nice names, the Harry Potter ones concern me with the whole trademark issue however. I particularly like ToyFairy.com and SoundofMusic.com. I would think $250 - $500 each.

Good luck.

I cant pass this thread by and not post anything, Soundofmusic.com and Toyfairy.com are your best domains, I think the rest are nearly worthless and please don't take that personal. The appraisals you got from no name are completely off the wall, When you say that you listed them with GreatDomains, how long ago was that? it must of been when they had no restrictions, they would NEVER accept these domains today.....If you want to sell them fast, try listing them on TDNAM.com or Ebay. As for the 5 letter acronyms and EU's, I would let those expire, you wont get a $1 for those.
