What do you think of this one?

SportsRecreation.com

What value alone?.....and if I were to develop what direction should I go?

Recreation narrows down your scope a little.. Maybe you could focus on "grass-roots" sports more than the professional field.

Thanks Luke,

I think that Sports Recreation is more of a common term here in the states than in the UK. I know there used to be a sporting goods store here in Tampa named SportsRecreation. I am thinking of perhaps a calendar of sporting events throughout year that people can participate in or maybe just an online sporting goods store...who knows....

I just saw that the term "recreation and sports" has an overture of 115,000. Maybe I underestimated this domain!

I just thought too ... the addition of "recreation" does expand your horizons to more "fringe" sports for example, hiking, rock climbing, etc. I think this site might do best as more of a community and information site with integrated equipment store, with the impetus on enjoyment of sport rather than "playing to win".

Good luck!
