Amateur investor with limited risk capital ($300-$1100) (Investors with blogs or websites actively buying and selling domains ($1100-$5000) End user ( $5000+) I think people need a reason to make the extra effort to remember the .us. (You need to offer them Content they want to see) ...I think one way for you monetize it would be to have a directory of popular stars (Actors, Musicians, Models, etc.) and give each one a profile page. I'd guess if you target people "interested" in a "specific star" using the facebook power editor and direct them to the stars profile page you'd make at least ten times more in the first year than you would have selling it.
