Good question.
I would think it might work for well as a new pilot series on one of the Food Network Channels. Afterall Barefoot Contessa, Oliver's Twist, Ham Nation.. somehow made sense. But I see your point, StarvingChef.com is definitely an oxymoron. Which in itself, my be its attraction..
Or maybe this site would be interested in buying it?

Could be the name of a Reality Show with Chef's 'starving" to make it big and competing to win a job in a fancy schmancy world famous restaurant.
Thus the oxymoron works.

It's a nice domain, and worth more than it may appear to be ... it's quirky which makes suited for branding ... gets people thinking; they'll remember it!
Ideal for a cooking / recipe site, or perhaps a site that has little to nothing to do with cooking, but is focused on satire of some sort. Various possibilities.
