British colloquialism for a "stunning" person, usually a female of great beauty. The plural is a porn site, unfortunately, which could pose some issues with a potential buyer justifying a high asking price.

We say it in Australia so it must be Australian

Anyway, top shelf domain IMO, I think this is better then the plural. I wouldn't be letting this one go cheap.

My appraisal: low $xx,xxx. I picture this being bought by a beauty magazine spin-off of some sort and wants to build a brand around the word "stunner".

This by no means falls under the adult category. "Stunner" is a perfectly clean word.

Acro, does this mean that when whitehouse.com was a porn site, that whitehouses.com automatically became a porn site by association?

Being that "stunners" is an existing adult site i would find it difficult to believe a beauty magazine or similar such more harmless mainstream idea would be a good idea for the domain, the traffic alone from the adult site would surely prove such concepts difficult.

IMHO renting it out to the existing plural namesake may be your best bet.

I would concur that this is a XX,XXX domain which may be blessed on the one hand having an adult site as the plural but also balanced out with a negative of limited development options for the same reason.

Doesn't sex sell? Why is being associated with adult such a bad thing? To me it just means there are more potential end users. It's not like the word has negative connotations like "slut" or similar and I agree with grcorp in that the term is "clean" and hence has a wider usage.

I like the name a lot as a brandable...it is an exciting positive word....the plural porn site would be a killer for that IMO (porn v sexy is different). Otherwise, for me, there is not a clear development idea that come up for me right away...so I would value this name in the $800 - 5k range. I personally would not pay in the higher range, but I think and enduser may. an enduser not worried about the porn plural may go double on my high end.

You really think stunners.com is better then stunner.com ? I think the singular version is much more brandable/memorable.

Nice idea. I'm in the U.S and I've never heard stunner used other then as a stun gun and lightly towards women "oh she's a stunner".

mid x,xxx imo

Based on saying "the plural porn site would be a killer for that IMO" maybe you meant something else idk.

The porn site does limit your exposure to quality end users. Still a good name though because of the branding limitations as a reseller I'd value at 1200-1800.

If it was not clear....what I meant was if you were to spend lots of money developing and marketing a nice brandable name Like Stunner.com - if the plural is a porn site - that would be a killer (bad/not good/negative) for your business model. I would go with another name.
