I read all the posts there - but do you warn the guy who started the thread also?
That thread is a joke (I did not make any comments there)

How about the other fella who quotes fake sales of $300 and $500 for 2 letter .com domains, in a LL.com sales thread?

This guy should be banned immediately and thread should be kept open to invistigators :)?:)
So we can find the real owner or alert the other members.

Re:OP
all good points, I would like to see this rule enforced...

looking at both sides here...

*for the record... I can see the sellers point... IMO maybe he has overpriced his domain, but he only needs to sell one domain.

But we should have another section for these high end domains. I think that thread would only apply to a few members...not meee. So maybe we need a section Domains over 1million ???

just my thoughts

:yo:

I agree but not over $1M, there would be maybe 1-2 posts a year in that one.

We have Under $100 and over $100, maybe we could have:

Under $500, between $500 and $5,000, and over $5,000?

Bottom line....comments are not allowed in a sales thread....
It's a free world here...people can ask any price they want.
Don't like their price....move on....simple.

When you post comments in another members sales thread, it violates forum rules...
Thanks

Unnecessary comments cheapens any sales thread..why not send a PM to the poster ?? But then again who's going to impressed with their wit ..

Again only my 2 cents

I've held back so many, many times when all I wanted to ask the original poster is:

What the frick is a ________.com?

So many made-up words and the like. Regardless of price, they are total garbage.

When the OP has to tell everyone what a word means or could mean, you have to wonder.

What about comments such as "nice names, good luck..." ?

Sometimes I feel the "no comments in sales thread" rule is only enforced on negative comments. Well, positive comments are nice but they also "bump" the thread don't they?

In all fairness the mods can't read every post..

jim

Agreed. We can't be everywhere all the time but we do have help from our members.

Thanks,
John
