Hi everyone,
(First and foremost - this isn't a shameless plug for my domain name - I really need help)
Since registering "TheSweetest.com", I have had a lot of interest in people wanting an email address to this address. These people have NOT been from the Internet or people emailing me find the name from a whois search - rather, these are people I know that I've told about my and my husband's email addresses I set up after registering the name. (I have [email protected] and he has [email protected]).
Anyway - what I'm wondering is:
1. Does anyone think it would be a good idea to simply make a web site devoted to offering people an email address [email protected]?
2. I could easily redirect the names, but would that be enough to satisfy people?
3. Could I put a small charge for the service? Would people be willing to pay? (Like $5.00 or something)
4. What legal problems could arise?
5. I feel it would be best suited to, and most utilised by, the female market - I know about 5 women who I've told (and that's five out of five who I've told I could redirect their chosen name to their existing email addy who are very interested) - or does anyone feel there's something I'm missing here?
6. I'll repeat, this isn't a shameless plug for my name - I really think it has good potential from the response I've seen so far - BUT, i'm worried that redirecting names wouldn't be enough and how could I guarantee that their email would always get through?
Thank you all so much for any help/comments/suggestions you have.
Debbie
