SnowboardingForum,com sold for 4k to an end user.
I think snowboarding is a stronger keyword than surfing in terms of a business (expensive equipment) but surfing seems to be more searched (90,500 vs. 74,000).
I think to the right buyer you can get 3k+

Thanks for the insight. I had glanced at SnowboardingForum before - didn't know how much INET got it for though. Interesting to know! I paid in low 4 figs for the name so I think I got it for pretty fair value.
