It's not a domain related forum, it's a hosting forum. But I'll remove it anyways..

It's obviously worth more than the reg fee, otherwise it would not go to 4 figures on snapnames.

Obviously it was worth 4 figures to you as you had a purpose for it .. so that should be good enough to suit your needs.

However if you decided to sell it, you would have to find someone who finds the domain as useful as you did ... so to the other percentage of people it will be appraised at reg fee.

That makes sense.. To me it was worth what I paid as I had been chasing it for a while. I even offered to buy it from the previous owner. They told me it was not for sale then let it drop several months later.. Kinda silly I think.. but it's probs worth nowt to most folks..
