Since no one has started it, thought of doing the honors myself...

Quite a number of 3 Chars including several NNN.
Has someone forgot to renew or lost interest??
The former applies to me, with one of the domains in the lot today... will try to be careful the NEXTTIME!!!!

It is sad because many folks land in here to talk down the list thinking it will reduce competition, but instead you have over 20 registrars over at MyID alone full up with backorders from people like Adam, our gracious host, along with some other notables.

There are also a few takers here who only post for their own interest or to extract information instead of helping one another.

On the list - just from what we saw earlier, there were a number of strong $5k retail value domains to be gotten.

Those are 'decent' names but how long do you have to hold onto them before a decent offer comes in, you could have years of renewal fees while waiting. Unless you plan to develop them all - parking wouldn't bring in much.

This is something I wanted to write about for CanadianDomainer.com / CanadianDomainer.ca when it launches after Labour Day. Too many people think they have bought lottery tickets which will payout within just a few months, and that domains like eatfishnow.ca will be in demand. If it really was so simple, then everyone would be doing it, and all of the good solid names would already be taken.

If you find a domain name which you think has value - I think, for example, that Pandamonium is a great word - then be prepared to own it.

When we calculate the cost of a domain our time horizon is more than five years, and usually closer to ten years, just like it would be for a land developer, or if the term land speculator would be used, the time to hold a given parcel of land could be twenty years.

No one is advocating holding a domain for twenty years, but unless you are prepared to hold domains for multiple years, just do not buy them.

Pick five domain names which you believe in, instead of fifty in which you do not.

I got 3 on the above list but have to say "UsedTrailer" is huge and would make a great directory + I am planning on selling my RV trailer
so this is a good place to start

Great quote. And can be used in almost any aspect of life or business
