I have used netfirms.com for a number of years for free hosting on one page sites..

Never fails when I try and move a domain off of netfirms servers even though by all accounts it looks like the dn servers have changed in all logs anywheres.. the web site still is uploaded by netfirms servers !

example ..

mcclanes.com I changed that 3 weeks ago to dns1/2 dailydouble.us but the dns never gets transfered over..even though if you were to do say a who-is ..it says it is at dns1/2 dailydouble but in fact the page is served up by netfirms.. I cant shake them..

is this a script by netfirms to "retain" the traffic ?

same thing with jabberwockey.com ..it wont change..

I have had this problem before with them ..

anyone understand what may be going on?

probably dont want to hear this but you get what you pay for

your much better finding a cheap host but if that isnt possible - then youll have to deal with companies like this and you cant really argue with them over it since you dont pay anything
