I understand, that the market in the US it is only the hispanic population (all heavy users of cells phones). In Spain they use "telefonos moviles" instead of "telefonos celulares", and it is already registered.
The hispanic population of US in 2000 was 35,2 millions (census Bureau) and that of Spain 40,5 in 2000. Therefore, in terms of market, probably "telefonos celulares" in US is equivalent to "telefonos moviles" in Spain; furthermore many people from South America and Mexico travel to the US and buy cells phones, and almost none go to Spain to do so.
