Why you said beijing.com? Beijing.com was never listed on their winner's circle of namewinner.com.
And I think beijing.com was a normal domain transaction instead of a dropped domain.

NO--bejing.com was NOT gotten by namewinner. (a script on Melbourne IT, I believe at the time).

The 'best' or highest bid-name picked up on namewinner was playgirl.com at around 11K purchase price. Compare.com was purchased for about 6K.
