The new Internet domain .xxx is dedicated strictly to adult entertainment and will make it easier to identify X-rated online content. But it poses different identity problems for companies that don't want their good names associated with bawdy brands. To prevent that from happening, they can claim an .xxx domain as their own at a cost of up to $400 per trademark -- if they act by Oct. 28.
