It seems like they are letting us taste named for 13 days. You fill out the app, and they are reserved for you, but you don't have t pay for them right away.

They aren't reserved for you. This is another sunrise period. Some names might have gotten more than one application. You don't own the name yet and theres a possibility you won't.

I am not sure about that, I registered like 120 names, and then paid for about 40 a day later, and all were approved.
