Soooooo..... what you are saying is that you prefer Saddam Hussein's methods of rape, torture, repression, and murder? I guess that is another legitimate viewpoint. Why risk the occasional stray missle when eventually the population will be brutalized to the point of death anyway.

Get real. The Iraqi army has killed more of Iraqi civilians than we have since the war started. This couldn't be happening to a nicer regime.

I just realized you are from Australia. I am really glad that Australia is part of the Coalition. Australia has sent 2000 special operations troops to Iraq. These are your best soldgiers and from what I understand are some bad mother fer's. I hear that know one wants to mess with these guys. I'm glad they are on our side.

I generally am more of a pacifist, but I make an exception for this character. Did you read the stories about him? He likes to wear a cowboy hat and watch videos of his political enemies being tortured by his loyalists (and sons). Absolutely disgusting. I have been watching images on my tv of Iraqi citizens warmly welcoming coalition troops as they are liberated. We are doing a good thing for the people of the reqion. It is unfortunate that there are some civilian casualties, but clearly we are doing more to protect Iraqi civilians that the Iraqi military is. War is Hell, but Saddam Hussein is worse.

YES, it is acceptable to kill innocent civilians as long as you are aiming at a military target. This is called collateral damage and is inevitable. America is doing a GREAT job of minimizing civilian casualties.

NO, it is not ok to intentionally murder civilians for the heck of it, like Saddam and the terrorist groups do.

War sometimes is the answer. Would you have chosen to stay out of WWII? Cuz that would have been dangerous and cowardly.

Howard is more popular than any other party leader. Crean won't even stand in the next election at the rate he is going - Labour will oust him before he drags the party down with him.

War isn't pretty, but it's more effective than 12 years of weak-willed UN sanctions, which have done nothing but make Iraqi people suffer on a greater scale.

Where were all the protesters when Saddam was gassing the Kurds? Protesting for free-speech and the right to protest?

The time has come, and while we're at it, it's nice to see the extremist Chechens, Iranians and all their mercenary friends are gonna drop by the barbecue.
