Parked.com defines fraudulent traffic as traffic converting at less than a certain rate (I think its 2%).

Maybe they should term it as non-converting traffic as opposed to fraudulent traffic. Fraudulent is a strong word for traffic which doesn't convert to the advertisers wants.

This is my problem with PPC companies. They suspend a users account for "fraudulent" traffic. Any program using the same ad network will not allow the member to create a new account assuming they bring "fraudulent" traffic.

Anyone that shares with other companies a members information stating their traffic is "fraudulent" should be sued for releasing personal information and incorrect remarks regarding the user.

ondera - As I told you in the 3 or 4 emails we had, it wasn't my fault you got terminated. You screwed up in the past with some other Yahoo provider. And that's how you got busted. I understand if it is indeed fraudulent traffic, but some legitimate Shmoe who parks a few domains to test our your system, parks a few names which don't convert well. You cancel him saying he has fraudulent traffic. In reality it is not fraudulent traffic at all.

Doesn't seem right to label the member as "fraudulent".

If somebody has 0 conversions with a large amount of traffic, you could possibly consider it to be fraudulent. Or completely untargetted. Like sending porn traffic to forex or something. But I don't consider anything to be fraudulent unless I can prove it.

Then you have low converting, which is still somewhat of a mystery to me, but low converting changes based on the keywords that people are clicking on. If you have 2% conversion rate on adult traffic you are the man, and will be rich. But if you have 2% conversion on home appraisals, then you suck. It's all based on the average conversions for the keyword. I have only seen two or three domains that were low or no converting that I couldn't figure out why.

I don't consider people with low or no converting domains to be sending us fraudulent traffic. It's just our provider doesn't want their traffic anymore.

Thanks Donny for the clarification. This is how all programs should be considered. 2% for adult traffic. An area I have been eyeing for a long time, but have not jumped into yet. Definately an industry where I do not see revenue dropping for a long time.

Just as a side note, at the last traffic conference we bought a very large adult domain, some of you know what the domain is. The domain makes good money, but don't expect 30-50 cents a click.
