My web guy has over 100 of my names at BulkRegister and he is great at customer service but it costs me $16 for every name. I've done some homework and am thinking about going out on my own. Perhaps a reseller account at enom or godaddy? I don't really want to sell names to others but just get the price of under $8 per name.

Anyone have any advice?

Thanks.

Thank you for the prompt and good advice.

By DNS, does that mean that I won't be able to point them to my main business site?

Nope, you can only park the domain using eNoms' DNS. If you want to point the domain at your business site you will have to pay an 'Activation' fee of $3.99 for each domain. The link will provide all of the the details.

Are you pointing all 100 domains at your business site?

Q

Not pointing the 100+ yet. Have to find out how that effects search engines right? Something like a 301 redirect?

"Name Only" accounts are domain purgatory. You can't even sell the name until you pay the $3.99 activation fee.

Yes, I agree but...

I rest my case ;)

Buy a sub-$7.00 enom reseller subaccount. PM me for details.

I took that to mean that rsequin didn't want to sell new registrations to others.

What's the point of getting a GoDaddy reseller account (of $6.75@) and pay a $99 set-up fee while you can simply transfer your names from Bulk Register for only $7.75!?
