All the .be domains I registered with box.be have been yanked from my account. I am just letting everyone know that you can't have them for sale at sedo. Just giving everyone warning that have them parked to sale.

Yeah. I think that is best. As it looks like box.be wanted any reason to yank them from my account. They were good ones too, getting traffic. I emailed them to ask and they were pretty rude. Oh well I guess I won't be doing future business with them.

I wrote them and all they said

You're not allowed to sell your free domain within the first year.

We have deleted the domains.

So I wrote back and told them that when parking them at sedo they go by default to sell. And that I have taken all of them off the market...they just replied back with a screen shot of the domains on sedo's standard parking page.

An this was all in less than a day in a half of having them registered.

Yeah I hadn't either. I found them on a list of Belguim registrars from another forum. They had a site in english and had the domains for free so I registered them. I was unaware of the "No Sale" policy until today. Doesn't matter to them I guess they just wanted me to buy some of their hosting and when I didn't they used any excuse they could to dump my domains.

there is not a none sale policy, read the rules at dns.be, be sure to email dns.be about what happened, I think your names was taken unfairly.

I read all the rules before registering my names for free.

watch the names they took, will be owned by box.be, They are just a reseller and have no right to take the domains. Only the .be registery has the right to terminate the domains.

Please make sure you send your list and ask reasons why, to the dns.be, as this kind of matter will turn there system to junk from registars stealing domains they finally see a value in.

The problem is: how will DNS.be interprete "warehousing"... If that means "registering a domain and immediately offering it up for sale", then a lot of us will get burned.

I also registered some freebies (what's in a name) and put one-page-websites on them.

All my domains were registered via Nucleus.be (I use to register all my .be-domains overthere, also the paid ones) and EuroDNS.com

I agree, and there is alot of .be names for sale at sedo.

I got one free getting 20 uniqs a day, if it keeps up i will probally go ahead and pay a renewal fee on it to be safe.

The registar still does not have the right to take a domain, that would be like godaddy taking your domain, it is not legal.

If you domain is being taken you should receive email from dns.be.

Thanks for the info...Yeah it looks like it is a big publicity stunt. Like they are holding them out there saying "See look at all of these great domains to register once the free trial is over."
