ToysRUs buys TOYS.COM for $ 5,100,000 in February 2009.

I hand regged TOYYS(dot)COM in 2003 and have held it since. Any thoughts on value and the best place to auction it?

I have many domains, all hand regged. Never bought a single domain from anyone/anywhere else. Never sold one via auction.

If there is no traffic, then there is no value. Is there?

There's traffic, but not enough in my opinion to use as a selling tool. It would definitely be a development project. I would think that as a clean domain, meaning no trademarks, and so close in (generic) spelling to a multibillion dollar industry that always performs well, that someone would be interested in tapping as a brandable venture.

When I referenced, "Never bought a single domain from anyone/anywhere else. Never sold one via auction." I wasn't bragging, just highlighting ignorance. I've always regged domains for personal development. Only so many hours in the day...

Thanks for the feedback.

I'm sorry but how is Toyys brandable? Not a single serious company would be interested in a cheap looking name. ToysRus is brandable, Toyz maybe, but Toyys? No way.

Sorry, have to agree with the majority here... I don't think any company is going to be interested in sending / more traffic to Toys.com... if you know what I mean...

This does not work, as a previous member said, toyz would be OK but this name is not. Sorry.
