im going to trade links with about 33 pr5 & pr6 domains (for my site capevegas.com)

is it hard to get a pr5?

and how many sites do you have to trade with?
and how much pr do they have

i have trade about 40-50 links with low prs, 1-3(4)

You may need to start out at PR 4 since your site has a PR of 0 and you will find a lot of webmasters will be reluctant to exchange links with you because your PR is low.

One thing to do is you can purchase a link on a PR 7 or above which will then raise your PR to a 5 or 6 depending on how well done the site is. Once you have that PR 5 or 6 then you can easily find webmasters to exchange links with.

Hope this helps.

You have found 39 sites with pr6 to trade with?? Just out of curiosity, what did you offer them in exchange? They can find plenty of sites with pr0 to link to, so why yours? Thanks.

You could also try linksmanager.com their sister site. They offer an excellent fully automated links exchange program and their customer support is excellent, it does cost $19.99 per month but saves loads of time, I seem to be getting one or two new link requests per day. Another advantage is your site gets listed at the top of the linkpartner.com listings, which I think, helps you get more link requests.

You can also try it for a free 30-day trial, if you don’t like it you can simply ditch it and it won’t have cost you a penny!

I use linksmanager.com on one of my sites and have been most impressed…

I would watch for the ones that make you place their sites link on your site as google can very easily penalize your site for belonging to or linking to these link directories.

I believe there was a service called zeus and all of the users that used it lost their PR completely.

yep, google reconizes link farms

and if Site A links to site B site B to C and C to A, they can b penalized too.

I dont htink this will owrk.

The way I run it, is use 2 of my sites and 1 of some1 elses.

Site A to B site B to C

Site A and C are my sites, and site B is the other persons site.

If anyone has a PR3 or higher, let me knwo if they wanna do that with me :)

Thank.

PS: the links would be 1X1 white (invisible) boxes.

So dont could on clicks, this is strickly for PR.

I think google penalizes you for such 1x1 pix links as well. Not sure, but I recall reading something about that.. Again, Im not sure but it does make sense.

PR of the site you are exchanging link with does not matter. What matters is the PR of the actual page your link is going to be on and also how many outgoing links are there on that page. The site you are exchanging link with may be a PR6 but what about the PR of their links page?

Exactly ps123, so far I havent found many worth my time there..

the really good sites are not even giving links back.. well nothing that can be crawled by google.. looks like a lot of sleazy operations.. the concept is great but then they let all the idiots screw it up.. I'm not trading links with people that want to place me on some "link" page.. it's lame and pointless and I am taking down the one I set up for

I am looking for good sites that could use a link at http://conventioncenters.us and wiling to send one back maybe from one of there other sites...

Yes thats true, I should have thought about that before i started trading links, a waste of time for me.
I knew about the pr when i started but did´nt think the link page had different rank.

Now i have to trade links like i used to
