Anybody knows of a platform that uses cryptocurrency to trade domain names?

If domain names could be traded in cryptocurrency, would you?
What do you think?

I was able to pay the difference of $500 on a domain in Bitcoin just recently.

I'd buy domains in Bitcoin, sure. However, I probably wouldn't buy any more in the 4-5 figure range yet as the rate has taken a big hit.
  • What platform does it trade on?

I bought the name through Epik, which I know uses Masterbucks as a payment source. I transferred in the BTC, converted it to USD, and made payment through MB (so not so much BTC to BTC wallet, but the transfer was there nonetheless).
thank you very much

As mentioned, EPIK allows you to use cryptos. Their sister websites NameLiquidate and 48HR also do. You can have cryptos payouts with Dan.com and Daaz.com, if I'm not mistaken. NameSilo marketplace must have crypto payouts too (but their marketplace is only for names registered with them. Epik can be used for names registered anywhere, not only the ones registered with them).

If you have the buyer, you can use a "multisignature" wallet which will allow you to use directly the Bitcoin Blochchain as an escrow mechanism (pretty much for free). But this is limited to the payment and won't help you to find the buyer.
