Hi,
You posted the domain. You put a pricetag on it. I said sold within a few minutes and asked where to send payment. If you go back on this I will leave a negative trader rating for you which is appropriate. We had a deal.... Your reputation is worth much more than $200...
Hope you understand,
Steven

SweDomains.com:
Actually i got this offer the day before your offer, i just hadn't checked my mail.

This offer was at $1k and gave me 10% of the revenue the site will make.

SweDomains.com:
Sounds fair, what email should i fwrd it to?

Christian

Then I just got a PM from nas7782:
irgy.com not sold yet?

HI,

The guy who "sold" you irgy.com just pmed me saying it was not sold yet, and that it's now at around $400. Is he busting my chop? Clearly, you posted sold in the thread.

Just wondering if it's a scam.

Thank you for your time,

Nas

You are right. I had glanced over it and saw no negatives so I thought he would be fine... I suggest a new feature to show the number of neutrals at the top of the page as well.
SweDomains.com - Honor our deal please... your last chance...

I totally stand for backing out. You can leave negative feedback if you have to. I just can't refuse this offer. I'm so sorry for my behaviour.

I saw this thread earlier right after the first guy posted SOLD... You know why this happened??? Because people make unneccesary comments afterward like: "wow, what a great deal!" ... someone even said "damn I woulda paid $300 for that".............that really has to stop on these forums. Anyone else agree ?????????????

I was the first to post sold; a bunch of people then went on to comment, including one person who said "I woulda paid $300 for it...". Those comments and this person's greed are exactly the reason. I reported those comments to the mods and they removed them because they were inappropriate. I suggest everyone report inappropriate posts.

Selling your rep for a few hundred bucks. Shame oh shame. Should be instant bannage for that!

I wish people think more of the long term than just what you get 'today'. Think of it this way. You sold the domain to him at a very good price. Dont you think he would be interested in your future domain sales? Frankly I had kept a note of you [well, I keep a note of sellers who sell nice domains and dont mispresent facts, and prefer buying from them] and now I after this incident I probably will not bid or buy your domains. I am sure many would feel the same. Now you see how gaining $200 now could lose you much more later? I am not sure you care but as a seller at any forum, I and many members I know always consider long-term relationships.

Swe needs to be banned. These sales forums are for doing business, and part of doing business is word of honor, which he clearly doesn't have. A negative feedback isn't enough. I don't care if he got an earlier bid in the email that he conveniently didn't check...if he's worried about gettnig other offers directly via email, he shouldn't have set a BIN!

I totally agree with crooky and GT web.

He should be banned otherwise this sales forum is losing its attractiveness inmo.

I hope you get the name scrsteven or at least some kind of compensation! Like $100 or more.

This is a very lowdown practice. It gives a bad name to domainers. I guess a ban is appropriate.

This kind of behaviour not only taints the seller's reputation but also the DNForum as a professional domain business place. Nowonder there has been hardly many quality domain sales of late, as distrust grows in our small community....

Basically if there will be an "ON HOLD" feature for a thread. So as soon as someones post SOLD. Thread is temporarily closed from comments until buyer aproves it or not.

This way there will be no comments after SOLD is posted in fixed price sales and sales with BIN. Probably it can be even done in engine. Adding a BUYOUT feature in the thread with folowing functionality.
