I just logged in into my ND to do a periodic check, and found out the TOP PPC is only US$ 0.11, and that is one of my best mortgage domain!

Why? It was like $1+ a week ago! :undecided

you can use the demographic tool in your account to see where the traffic is coming from to each domain , I saw similar things happen then I checked with this tool and discovered that some was foreign traffic , thus the lower payout.

also, .11 is given for clicks before the 48 hour update is completed , and that is what is showing.

Hi there,

As Searchsix pointed out, we do have our generic PPC data for the first 24-48 hours that a click is made so it could be this. You can see if the stats have been updated by clicking on the domain name itself to see day by day stats.
If the click has been updated, then there are so many factors that can explain a low click on a normally high-paying area.
If the traffic is from a lower-paying area such as Asia or Africa, then the clicks are clearly lower-paid, whether they are Mortgage, loans or any other term, Google simply doesn't pay for them.
If someone comes to the site and does a search in the search box for something that is not mortgage-related and lower-paid, then that will also mean that a subsequent click will be worse-paid.
We sadly cannot guarantee that highly-paid keywords will be highly-paid by Google every time as there are so many different factors which Google take into account when paying for a click.

Ed, am I correct in assuming that the max payout per click on ND is $2.50? I think I read that on the site? Would I expect on average a $2.50 max payout on a pure poker hit coming from UK?

Thanks!

for poker huge income Fabulous are rated Nr.1

Thanks!

I had a poker name on ND for a month, only got .20 average per click , most clicks from north america, moved on with it obviously.

Not sure if this answers your question, but I have a couple categories which pay more than $2.50 a click. I've not heard, nor read, about any 'max' click amount on NameDrive.

will start a new thread about this.

Hi there aZooZa,

Not sure where you read about a max click price, but no, it isn't. As far as poker clicks are concerned, the ever-helpful carloti is right, there is little we can currently do to compete with the king of vice clicks, Fabulous...
We have a Google feed and, as a US company, they are not permitted to really milk gambling as much as they'd like. I'm not saying we'll never be able to compete, but currently the highest UK poker click is likely to be a under a dollar or so.
Trader, which 'this' are you referring to? The 11 cent mortgage click? I think I answered most of that in my previous post in this thread.

Hope you all have a good week.

Hi Ed,

In the FAQ:

"How are my earnings calculated?

Every time a unique visitor clicks the advertisements on your domain, you receive money in your NameDrive account. This amount depends on several factors, such as the user's country of origin, their behaviour on the site, which ad they click etc. The amount you earn can be anywhere between $ 0.02 and $ 2.50 per click, although the average amount is generally around $ 0.20 with highly-paid clicks hard but not impossible to come by if you have extremely well-targeted traffic in certain industry areas."

I think i'm correct in saying clicks are capped @ $5 per click, i've had many of these but never over $5.....only time they would rise above this would be when the same user clicks more than once in one visit which would count as 1 click.

This could be complete tripe though.

I've happily received a couple of $5.00 clicks... never more though.

I'd like to add that I have 43 domains with the word mortgage in them, all keyword optimized and the stats for these are less than desirable.

From Jan 1 to present.

Rev: US$ 9.59
Visits: 1623
Clicks: 62
CTR: 3.82%
CPC: US$ 0.15
CPM: US$ 5.91

That's just the mortage domains... loans, refinance, financing, real estate, etc.. just as bad.

Currently looking for a better solution.

It isn't greener on the Sedo front.

The answer is AdSense.

I see that all the family are here and thats great !

Overture yahoo have a lot of clicks above 10 USD and sometimes 30,
the fact is that google reported record earnings and reveune last week
..I think that we are good workers for them!

i wish ND moves to Overture instead of sticking with Google

Had portfolio on sedo, Low 11 cents - Moved some to ND to test the waters, Moved those back out when I noticed the low 2 cents for hosting clicks. Sent ND an email days ago as it has probably got tossed. Sent email from the gmail webmail interface so I highly doubt it bounced or landed in thier spam folder.
I am now working on my own adsense pages and parking script. I am done with ND and sedo.
This message was kept short and sweet. 8-)

The Sedo story is different, as we know all domains parked with them will
get a free publication to their market place! so sedo must pay per visit in my openion.

As per name drive...I drived my domains out from them,,,my friends we must get a lot of respect from parking companies, we are offering them our domains
which cost us a lot of bucks, they do nothing they only put ads from yhaoo
or google and afterb that they want all the bucks!

the internet pub is a growing market, with growing profit, why we should expect a decline??

All I can say other than poker/casino and adult names your best bet is adsense or yahoo sense.

poker and casino names are wonderful on FAB.

Have yet to find good adult clicks

Cheers

We need to create a domainer's initiative because we are losing out on the big bucks from all the driven traffic. Let them keep the crappy names parked, we want top $$ for our clicks.
