This one isn't for sale (the team keeps me in t-shirts and calenders and I get to hang out with them on the weekends when they do promos and stuff...some things are worth more than money :D ) but I'm curious what it would appraise for.

It gets 30 unique visitors per day, which is alot to me. Most come from military bases, colleges, and Germans.

ps - What's a DNForumBuck?

At first glance it doesn't seem like Utah would have a Bikini Team, but if you study the history of Mormon Business Development, it makes sense.

You see, Mormons scour the globe (missions they call them) trying to recruit people into the faith. In the old days, if you joined you were REQUIRED to relocate to Utah. (The Mormons were chased over the mountains by the US Military around the time of the Civil War).

Now, Utah has GREAT Skiing!!! (Winter Olympics 2002). So as missionaries comb the globe looking for converts willing to move to snow covered Utah, where do you think they had the most success? SCANDANAVIA!!! Switzerland!!! Sweden!!!

As a result, Utah has an overabundance of Skiing, Mormons, and (not by coincidence) REALLY HOT BLONDE CHICKS!!!

So you see, when you understand the history of the region and it's dominant religion, it actually makes perfect sense tha Utah should have a Bikini Team. :D

Wow, if they are mormon, I think I am in the wrong religion!

On the flip side of the coin, isn't appraising a name you never intend to sell sort of being a tease or wasting our time?

And this site is really a forward for a-listbikiniteam.com, right? Is that what you meant by sending them traffic?

And what's up with the guy in this link: http://www.a-listbikiniteam.com/blazesnap1.jpg ? He looks like he's about to have a stroke or something. :)

I doubt they are "skiing Mormons". Conservative dress is a requirement of the religion.

I actually wanted to sell the name, and still do...but AFTER I finish having fun with the team. When I found out there really was a UtahBikiniTeam, I put my original plans on hold.

Actually right now I have a mirror of their homepage at UtahBikiniTeam.com with links to their site which is hosted at A-List BikiniTeam.com. I do this because I can embed tracking code in the page and muck around with the design and layout.

The account hosting the mirror page is a spare 500MB hosting account with unlimited transfer that I had lying around. It also has unlimited POP3s. The options are to either a) host the online store portion of their site (which I'd have to build myself) on the big account and keep a % of the revenue, b) sell the domain with the hosting account or c) sell the hosting account, online store, and name to the team. In instances b) and c), an Appraisal of the domain would be very helpful, which is why I posted it here.

That said, I'm not going to make real moves towards sale until I get a store online and build the traffic up a little.

There's always a reason why I ask for an appraisal on a name. I don't ever do it just for fun.

...except LoudPuppet.com. :D That one I was just messin' with you guys. Everyone should have a spoof name in their collection someplace. It helps keep things in perspective. ...sorry, don't be mad.
