When he sells LLL .net domains for $360 a piece, it means he bought them dead cheap. The NamePros thread is from July 2011. When did you acquire these domains, Exam? Where was the seller located? How much did you pay? All the info here points to these domains being "laundered" that is, stolen and resold at low prices.

The Japanese name and address is most likely fake. I even have a hard time believing that a Japanese domain scammer even exists.

Japanese people rule!

Theo you have raised good questions, unless we get clear answers - we need to find out as much as we can on the domains DNF and NP Members have purchased involving this scam (Stolen Domains) anyone involved in any purchased need to come forward ASAP.

please have a look

i bought it for LLL.net $250 each

If you get to buy a bulk of LLL.nets for $250 each you need to check, check and check again; owner history, google the names, call the previous owners etc. Why? Because the names are most likely stolen.

Something is not quite right here.
He says he bought the names (cheap) in good faith but he is reselling them below market value.

He's a new member here offloading a large number of valuable domains in a hurry - before being exposed.
But I would like to be wrong.

:ban:.

Exam,

If you purchased the names in September, how come the original seller (listed in the NamePros article) mentioned you by name to receive payment back in July?

Hello

its all happening like Chaos theory

kalaimani is the name of the god , frequently uses as nick for tamilian

and i still never get any information from the thread starter in NP

i'm ready to resolve the issues , if he proves that some one scammed him really (the previous owner ) , i'll surely help him to recover the money since i know the the physical address of him , and ready to visit in person or i can send legal notice to him

Until the case comes to the resolution , i won't sell any domains

and i'm reachable with my personal mobile no : +91-7871368905

you can call me any time i'm ready to answer your questions

Thanks for understanding

Chaos theory, love it.

In 2005 you could *probably* buy LLL .net domains at $250 a pop in bulk but definitely not in 2012. Even at $360 it's 1/3 market value.

This is a stolen domain laundering situation; the NamePros thread adds to the extend of the scam. Whether the scammer was the previous owner or not waits to be seen. In the meantime, anyone buying these domains basically buys stolen property.

maybe someone had a time machine :)

or

maybe someone bought them when they were selling for $100 each in 2002, added 10 years renewal fee when it was $6.95.

thus each cost is $169.00, so selling for $360.00 is bout $200 profit, per name.

or maybe someone bought them for $300 each and needed to flip for $360 each

or maybe someone bought them for $400 each and sold them bulk for a loss, to buy 1 real nice gem.

or maybe .....

:)
