There are alot of existing Trademarks on the name V8. It's such a great name, but it could get you in a lot of trouble if someone decided to enforce their existing trademark via a TM infringement suit or a suit under the ACPA.
It's up to you though. The TM holders may never come after you.

yea, but dont use the drink on your site .. that's probably a stronger TM than engines.
