I just wanted to revisit this one using a poll. I think that is an excellent idea.

Just some tidbits with voicecam.com. I bought voicecam.com in 10/98 with the belief that we would someday use our computers to "video conference" with with family and friends, more than we do with the regular phone.

Not sure if that vision is going to happen anytime soon.

Anyways, it appears a product has just come out in the last year using the name VoiceCam. It is a digital camera that can be used as a voice recorder/camera. You can take pictures (and talk at the same time), then send the "voice/pix" file via the internet to family and friends. You can also use it for business purposes. Insurance adjustors will most likely use this type of device to take pictures of accident scenes while talking about different aspects of the scene (instead of taking written notes).

Thanks for any input here.

Excellent job predicting technology and excellent name Izopod! That is one of my favorite things to do. Have you ever heard of holocams? :)

I think that VoiceCam.com will be worth over $1,000.

I haven't seen the product or heard about it, however from the gist of the name I can see A LOT of potential.

Thanks for your response BTW!! I've always said investing or projecting is like driving in a Formula one car. You always look 3 or 4 cars ahead when you drive.

note: some more tidbits on VoiceCam. I forgot to mention that it will also let you "video conference".

Izopod, what do you think? I hope to be as successful as you in predicting a new product...
