You conduct a public auction and all the bids must be posted at the thread. This is not a taking offers situation. You should request any members who sent you the offer via PM to post the bid at the thread.

If you do not honor the official winning bid then the highest bidder has the right to leave you a negative feedback.

There is no need to argue - This is clear as black and white and it is your call to do the right thing if you still want to do business here.
