Hi,

so today i tried to reach ND through their phone number published on their site.

Picks up a lady that has never heard of Namedrive.

Try it the second time, the lady again telling me i'm not the first to inquire about that "namedive" and what it is.

So what about a *real* phone number ?

:)

Thanks,

as a to be trusted company in a business where its all about credibility shouldn't it be the company to publish a real phone number instead of an old/random/fake/wrong one in the first place ?!

A no brainer in my opinion.

The phone number listed on ND website is an international number. Please be sure you are dialing it correctly, as international numbers require a specific way to be dialed. The number listed is a UK number.

ND has always been quick to respond to any of the emails I have sent to any of thier addresses listed @ http://www.namedrive.co.uk/contact_us.php

Thanks KwelX,

Ed has contacted me already so i hope this gets worked out soon.

Out of curiosity, what do you mean by

- "international number" ?
- "require a specific way to be dialed" ?
- "UK number" ?

I was talking about the *.com* site (wasn't even aware there is a .co.uk version) on which there is listed an *US* phone number that doesn't require any specific way of dialing and leads to a lady that doesnt have anything to do with ND.

As said, in contacts with ND but still curious what exactly you are talking about :)

Thanks !

Out of curiosity, what do you mean by

- "international number" ? A non-us phone number
- "require a specific way to be dialed" ? From the US dial 011 + (Country Code) then Phone number
- "UK number" ? +44 is the country code for UK

:) Hope that clears up what I was talking about.

Hi thanks for the reply,

unfortunately i'm even more confused than before :D

- On the .com site, i see a U.S. number
- On the .co.uk site i see a UK number

I myself am located in Germany and as i'm a big boy already i know how to dial to the US and i even know how to dial to the UK :)

What i still don't get is the bit about the international number - where have you seen that number, how do you know it's an international number (whatever that is) and how would i dial that from Germany ?

Or is it you are referring to that Uk number as "international number" ?

Hope that clears up what i still understand about what you are talking about.

:)

Sorry for the confusion. I was referring to the UK phone number as an international number.

The phone number displayed to me on their .com web site is
(+1) 360-207-0495

The phone number displayed to me on their .co.uk web site is
(+44) 0207 0998 614

Are these phone numbers not correct?

Having chatted with ed on several occassions via email I must say they are very responsive. Even if Ed has been away, someone else has collected the emails and ensured I knew

The fact that namedrive never responded to this thread is a bit odd, at least.
