What Domain Tools You Use Most - Finding Domain Name

Hello Everyone,

We all know or at least agree not every domain get sold in the aftermarket. So for finding a good valuable domain name what Tools you people use?

Here are some tools which I use most...

ExpiredDomains.net :- It's one of the tools which I use to find, download expiring or expired domain or listed domain in the excel sheet. ED also offers lots of good features where you can filter every list as per your need from how many extension taken to Alexa ranking, good domain authority to DMOZ listed to higher CPC and search volume.

Ubersugesst by Neil Patel:- I use ubersugesst every day as domainer as well as an SEO for my blog and websites to see the keyword 'search volume, CPC, the competition a keyword hold. Ubersugesst also offer a cool Chrome extension for free that you can use to see 'keyword volume and CPC and what amount of traffic a website gets right on Google search page.

NameInvestors.com :- This one is my Go to tools that I daily use to find a good domain that is dropping and what registrar they were before going to let expire. I also use NI to find previously sold domain names that are going to drop. You can see NameLiquidate listed domain name there.

What I found cool is the 'Widget' feature. Which you can organise as per your need on the homepage.

Epik Appraisal (it's free) :- Epik appraisal is another tool which I use to check the value of my domain name and it's free.

Ps:- I don't give much value to the automated appraisal but I find epik appraisal to good compare to others.

NameLiquidate :- I like name liquidate (Don't drop, liquidate ) a good place to look for a good domain name a very very cheap price. I saw 20 years old domain getting sold for just $9 and I saw $1 hand reg .CO domain sold for $995 that's a good platform if you don't want to spend money on hand registering domains and want to find a valuable domain name at $9 (but you need to quick to purchase or else it's get slipped to another domain investors)..

Hunter.io :- I use Hunter.io to collect email IDs for doing outbound. Not too perfect but at least very trustworthy as 95% time you get the working email ID of any domain or website.

i use my brain, along with a common sense approach.

but a quality domain can be found anywhere, from forums to newspapers
depends on where and when you're looking.

Indeed the human brain is the best tool the God-given. I agree with you but not everyone always relies on 'Brain' sometimes they find tools to make thing easier.

those who approach domaining looking for the easy paths to quick success,
are typically lead to believe it, because they heard about it from someone else.

the "search feature" is a tool, i use on every forum visited.
but it takes brain to know what terms to query, to get results you want.

imo....

That's what you need. An intuition of what can sell.

I'm often wrong even with good terms.

this is what you go to first,
whether it's considering a domain or considering any advice, opinions or "suggestive directives".

ask yourself,
does the name make sense
does the advice make sense,
and who is giving it and why are they telling me to go here or use this or see this video or read this course.

you could follow and be wasting time, if the tool, course, video didn't do anything to enhance "their" portfolio.
they could just be parroting what they were told to say or what they heard or thought they read somewhere else.

you want to question:
what names have you sold to be in position to give advice or have to valid opinion on subject?
how long have you been buying and selling domain names?
what did you learn from that course, that helped you buy the right domains?
how many names have you sold on that platform, and what names did you sell?

the more you qualify the info, the higher the quality of it, will be.

I use both Govalue bulk checker and Dotdb API Console.

In this example, I found some keyword domains liked PremiumCoffee.org and ItalianCoffee.org are available out of 170000 row of data in no time.

Epik and Estibot for me. I used them earlier. Also NameBio. But to buy new, I go for BigRock and check the price. For old domains, any suggestions?

Dotdb.com : For total Registration counts of the keyword.
nameinvestors.com :-To find previously sold dropping domains.
Namebio.com and dnpric.es : For sales history
EpikMarketplace : For Seo optimized sales page
generatedomainname.com : For Geo domain names.

There are two type of you may buy one is expire domain the other is new domain.

To find expire you may use expireddomains net
and to find new domain idea you may visit this website namemesh com

You can use Domainr and Dot-o-mator to find released domains. Of course, you can find more tools using search engines.

The tool I use is named my Brain, I use it in first place then I do WHOIS to see if my brain is right and the domains are available.
