I've been at the domain game for a while, but always stayed away from adult domains. Now I've picked a few up on drops and they're not doing that great at Domain Sponsor (relative to my other names).

I have one thats getting an avg of 800 (750-900) uniques per day (250 US) that is only making $2/day. Is this to be expected of adult domains?

I started looking around, but porn sites are a dime a dozen and each has its own affiliate program. I'm not looking to run my own site/tgp but I want to do something more... even if it's just a page of banner ads.

I would really appreciate any suggestions or guidance you can offer (aside from "sell them to me!").

Thanks!

I'm not really into adult sites, but I do know that ClickCash pays very well: $80 per free signup. Plus you get a $50 signup bonus :-D

Or we could all just drop referrer links and hope you sign up under us....

Anyhow,

With a domain like this your best bet is to simply forward it to a sponsor until the traffic dies. Most adult ppc programs aren't worth it unless you have very productive traffic as they are either low payouts (2-3 cents per click) or scaled (meaning the worse your traffic, the less the pay out per click).

If you really wanted, you could simply setup a quick template tgp with all sponsor hosted galleries and if any lucky surfer signs up, you get your share without any actual tgp site maintenace/building. But once again, the market is saturated and it takes alot to even get signups on sponsor hosted galleries.

So, i would suggest just sending it to a free adult email program that usally pay from $1-$1.50 per confirmed email. Just forward it directly to an affiliate link that best suites your traffic and you should do decent with signups.

$80 per free signup

I believe it is $40 per sign up.

$80 if you give them 1001 or more per month.

Isn't it?
Or else I am getting 1/2 affiliate pay :-(

1001 in the billing period, which is ONE WEEK. That's the price traffic brokers
get, people who send mega traffic and mega signups. The average bum gets
$40, which is still very good.

Nameable, if your name is an ex-tgp name, it's useless, even if you get
10,000 hits a day. If it's not, I'm interested in buying it so shoot me a
PM with your asking price.
