For Sale when do tucows drop their names?

I found a high listed name in yahoo and the domain expires soon when does tucows drop them? And also should I worry about someone snatching it up, because its not a great name and its 2 words with a dash and a .org It gets alot of traffic about 4,000 a day. Thanks for all your help in advance.

p.s. is thier a grace period?
