hope this doesn't get on your nerves but as mentioned in another thread i need a name for my logodesign site; as some nice suggestions have already been made by members i'd like to hear some opinions on the following:

LogoDesigns.com
CuttingImage.com
LogoQuest.com
MyWebLogo.com
LogoSet.com
TheLogoSite.com
WhatLogo.com - in Alexa

What do you think of those?

Or do you have any other suggestions?

True about the typein-factor; on the other hand i just like CuttingImage.com somehow - but i still dunno (as you can tell)

Hi Beatz,

cuttingimage.com does sound all new age and funky, but to target business, you'll have to build up and market the brand.

With Logodesigns.com some of this business might come for free.

It is always the case with artists, designers etc, they love something a little bit different when naming their companies.

How many out of work artists designers do you know?

HAs this any relevance?

Go for the 'does what it says on the tin' approach. Thats what I would do but hey, who am I?

If on the other hand--you are trying to purchase it--and the price is very high--than you should consider the next best --depending on your budget of course.

So the real question here is: Do you already own LogoDesigns.com ?

should have included that i DON'T own logodesigns.com - and the current asking price is too high imho.

Sure LogoDesigns.com would be nice but as with most things it's a matter of price as this is the plural version whereas it's the singular that is searched for - i doubt the plural has high typein figures.

I know the other names are no typein at all but those would cost me only $8....

He's asking $5k for it; as i said, nice name but price too high as it's the plural which really isn't the typein term people would use.
Btw - Buydomains offered LogoDesign.org to me for $500 which matches the keyterm 100% - but then again it's an .org...

I don't really understand you guys. Typing in "LogoDesigns.com"? Who does it and why? I really cannot image it. Especially if it is someone of you. Don't you know Google??? Do you never check the competition of a generic domain name? Do you buy books only from books.com and domains from domains.com?

Design is usually used in singular. You can call individual logo ideas "logo designs". But if you need a logo, you usually need just only one logo, so you are looking for a "logo design", not for "logo designs". And even the process of designing 100 logo is still called logo design. The art is called design not designs. Just like biology is biology and there are no biologies or marketings.
